135compact.com 35mm ultra compact cameras Konica EU Mini AF
The
Konica EU Mini AF is a very basic, very light and very compact camera.
It's very similar to the widely available focus free EU Mini to which a
focus unit has been added. There is very little information about the
AF version. It was also
sold under the name U-mini AF in America.
There were different colours available. You could order a batch of
custom imprinted
cameras, but obviously few companies did this.
Its main features are:
28mm F6.7 AF lens, 3 lenses in 3 groups, min. focus 0.8m Electronic programmed shutter, serves also as lens diaphragm. 3 shutter speed/aperture combinations: 1/180/F8, 1/180/F6.7, 1/60/F6.7 (1/60 for flash) Size 110×61×33, Weight 150 gr. Limited DX code for ISO 100 - 400 (only 2 contacts), auto wind, flash auto only

Seen
from above. Just a shutter button and a tiny LCD screen which has not faded much.
It seems to be common that they fade. This one looks OK.

Both models, AF and non-AF. They are nearly the same.
This
camera is incredibly basic. You slide it open and push the shutter,
that's all. There are no features, even flash is automatic only. The
camera has an AF lens. No slow shutter speeds for night photos. Point and
shoot as
basic
as possible. As there are 3 shutter speeds, automatic exposure and a
flash, results are quite OK. It's one of the smallest and lightest
point and shoot cameras.
